Meet Ed Summers — A Leader With Vision
Ed Summers is a Ventura City Councilman, and an active community volunteer. He has worked in senior positions in the banking industry for the past 26 years.
A Ventura resident for the past 19 years, Ed came to the area from Claremont, Calif., where he grew up in a working class family and went on to earn a degree in Business and Finance from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Drucker Center at Claremont Graduate School. He went on to serve as a city commissioner with responsibilities for traffic circulation, land use and planning and the police department. During his time in Claremont, Summers was also a member of the Board of Directors for the Claremont Chamber of Commerce.
